
INTRO TO OUTDOOR CLIMBING
£95 per person – 1 Day
Come and have a go at outdoor rock climbing on this one day introduction to climbing course. This relaxed 1 day session will give you the perfect opportunity to get a taste of outdoor climbing and start you on your climbing journey. The course will leave you with the skills required to sign up to a climbing wall or take on a more advanced course.
Instructor to participant ratios are kept low to maximise your learning and experience.

- Timings: Start time: 09:30 – Finish time: 16:30
- Max Course Ratio: 1:4 (will run with a minimum of 2 participants)
- Minimum age: 18
Course Outcomes:
- Learn how to put a harness on and tie into a rope
- Learn how to belay and lower your climbing partner
- Learn key climbing techniques
- Climb routes on outdoor rock
- Have a go at abseiling*
Prerequisites:
- A reasonable level of fitness is required
- No previous climbing experience is nescesary

- All rock climbing and safety equipment is supplied including belaying device and karabiners, ropes, harness and helmet

- Climbing shoes (not essential for the intro course but bring your own if you have a pair)
